Drums are calling the power of Mother Earth, they call the power of the God of Thunder, Thor, the son of Earth Mother and Sky Father. They remind the body to get back into the natural, life-giving rhythm again, swinging in resonance with the dance of life. Not without reason in shamanism the drum is used, for example, to call the divine forces, the spirits. The good spirits of the etheric realms love music, chanting and the joy and jollity which come along with it.
The seminar Magic Power Drums is a time of the body, a time to get in resonance again with the source of life by experiencing this source of life with drumming, singing and dancing.
The consecration of a drum is a very special experience. During a special meditation guided by myself every participant establishes the contact with the etheric realms and will meet there one or eventually several spirits, for example animals of power, gods, angels, devas and divine ancestors, which are willing to become the keeper of the drum serving as a spiritual teacher and helping their “man” to send out healing vibrations and to bring god into the world.
Consecration of ones own drum and then to play it is a special experience. Many things we will do with the drum will be very exceptional. Therefore it is not important whether you already have had any experience with drums or not. In this seminar we will deal less with technical perfection than learning to awake the spirit of the drum, to deal with it sensibly and to send out healing. Certainly your drumming will be improved considerably after participation of the seminar compared to your skills before – but this you will learn rather casually.
During these seminar days you will not experience any dry or uninspiring training hours filled with discipline
Together we will sing songs of power experiencing the opening of the heart and the small human mind gets in close relation with the divine. If you still have the opinion, you can not sing – leave it at home. Everybody who can speak is also able to sing! And as soon as you recognize how fantastic it is to sing, you will not want to stop singing. The lessons rather will not include classical singing, but we will improve the voice with the methods of NLP and holistic suggestopedia, supported by the power of healing stones to let the power and the character of the voice evolve naturally. Exactly as children do.
Shamanic dancing will be a further focus. You learn to weave energy patterns, to heal, to call spiritual powers and to expand you consciousness into shamanic realms.
About myself:
My musical career started when I was 12 years old.
At that time together with some schoolmates I founded a Rock & Blues band.
Till my early 20ies I was a singer and played the drums in various bands.
During this time I also did a lot of compositions – approximately 30 songs were penned by me then. In my early 30ies I started to play the African Djembeh, got engaged with the Australian Didgeridoo (a woodwind rich in overtones), spiritual songs and shamanic drumming.
My first CD "Rainbow Trance" which was published in 1996 by Windpferd I recorded with my friend the musician Hanz Marathon.
This volume contains also several solo drumming compositions which might be of interest, if you want to have a listen what I am doing in this range of subject.
I have experience as an instructor of seminars since 1989.

Prerequisites:
You need a drum which can be played with both hands no matter what type of drum it is. If you have the choice, take a Djembe or any other large African dance drum.
The fringe program will contain Asiatic energetic gymnastics, the deer and spider dance ritual, meditation, massages and story telling.
